As much as we would like to have no undesirable experiences in our life, some will always remain. The following will help you better understand the types of undesirable experiences as well as what undesirable experiences will always exist.
Before reading this section, read generosity first as it helps in understanding the following.
A generous undesirable experience is the least undesirable (or most desirable) in the long term of all of the possible experiences. If a generous undesirable experience is not achieved, the result is a more undesirable experience.
Generous undesirable experiences include the following:
Give the above list some though to understand that they are generous undesirable experiences. If you are unable to understand it at this time, read on and remember to return to this section.
A selfish undesirable experience is the result of a person giving to them self or the group they are a member while not attempting to genuinely consider the indirect and long term results as experienced by others. The action might appear generous to the direct group that receives, but it is selfish because there was no generous consideration.
By genuinely considering the indirect and long term results as experienced by others, the person is generous.
A selfless undesirable experience is the result of giving what is needed by yourself, or the group you are a member, to others while expecting some unknown to restore what is needed. The long term result might remain selfless though can become generous.
As knowledge evolves, selfish and selfless undesirable experiences are overcome.
In utopia, of the undesirable experiences, only generous undesirable experiences will exist.
